Lose yourself in The ZONE

If you pull out a map of Mississippi and draw a triangle with vertices near Homochitto National Forest, DeSoto National Forest, and Bienville National Forest, it will encompass almost 10000 square miles (about 1/5 the size of Mississippi).

This triangle is a wonderland of outdoor recreation spots!

You can drive from anywhere in this area to anywhere else in this area in less than about 2.5 hours – so you’re pretty much never more than about an hour or two away from some fantastic fishing, hunting, skiing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, cycling, birdwatching…

The list is endless!

Of course, there are great outdoor activities to be found just about anywhere you go, but South Mississippi seems to have something special going on!

It is as if we live in a Bermuda Triangle of outdoor activities – but that’s too much to have to say, and BToOA is a terrible acronym – so I just call it The ZONE!

Inside The ZONE defined by these three amazing National Forests, you will find…

…and much more!  This is just the tip of the iceberg!

If you are looking for outdoor adventure in the deep south, You’d be hard pressed to find a better home base than south Mississippi!

I encourage you to get yourself lost in The ZONE!
